Free Delivery
24-hour delivery service, 365 days a year. Most deliveries are completed within four hours of order placement. Pickups of rental equipment no longer needed at your facility are completed same-day.

Education
Equipment training and staff in-servicing is available, as often as needed, for all equipment. Our goal is to ensure full understanding on how to safely operate the equipment. A complete program of nine CE courses (Massachusetts accredited only) is also available for presentation at your facility.

Inventory Control
Equipment usage reports, provided to you either weekly or bi-weekly, assist in assuring billing accuracy, maintaining accurate rental inventory and more. Click here to learn more!

Quality Control
All equipment is maintained by expert service technicians and kept to the utmost standards. Industry standard disinfecting and cleaning occurs in our warehouses between each rental placement. Equipment is regularly bio-checked and labeled, helping to provide a safe, functional and effective environment for patients and staff members.

Third-Party Billing
Direct billing arrangements are available, at no cost to your facility. Decrease your facility’s daily expenditure by minimizing collections and paperwork. Depending on your patients’ coverage plans and qualifications, the following insurances can be billed: Tufts, Fallon, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Evercare Hospice & Palliative Care, PACE, Senior Whole Health, Neighborhood Health Plan, Commonwealth Care Alliance, over 20 New England Hospice agencies and more!

CLINICAL SUPPORT

Specialty Medical Equipment provides clinical support as an integral part of its DME rental services. Our goal is to assist in developing a comprehensive quality initiative specifically targeted at reducing the incidence of pressure ulcers, decreasing average healing time and reducing total wound care cost.

Clinical Education

The world of wound care is ever changing. Educational in-servicing, product and dressing training and CE programs are complimentary with your NPWT rental. We believe that educating thousands of nurses about pressure ulcer prevention and treatment will benefit your patients in the long run.

Clinical Consultation
When special equipment needs arise, let us work with your nursing staff in addressing the needs of every patient. All of our products are therapeutic stage rated up to a Stage IV. Our certified wound care nurses have extensive product knowledge and will recommend the right bed and therapy support surface for the right wound.

Follow-Up
Standard follow-up call after the first 72-hour dressing change and continued wound care nurse availability until wound closure.
